The inaugural Strides for Strength 5K & Fun Run will make its debut on April 27, 2013. This brand new and exciting family event is a fundraiser benefiting the Project Self-Sufficiency Child Care Assistance Fund.

Event Details

The 5K race will commence at 9:00 a.m. from Chapungu Sculpture Park near the Promenade Shops at Centerra in Loveland. The route will meander around the sculpture park, course through the mall sidewalks amongst storefronts, supporters, and encouraging fans, and finish back at the park.

The Fun Run starts at 10:00 a.m. and will bring kids, parents, friends and families of all ages back to the Chapungu Sculpture Park for a shorter route amongst imaginative stone sculptures and gorgeous natural scenery.

Following the Fun Run will be an awards ceremony, announcements from Project Self-Sufficiency, and fun family event with food and festivities.

The Strides for Strength event will commence rain or shine.

Cost:

• 5K = $25.00

• Fun Run = $10.00

• Maximum Fee for Families (up to 5 participants) is $50.00
