Cutting Edge Automotive Donates Reliable Pre-Owned Vehicle to Project Self-Sufficiency Participant in Need
FORT COLLINS, COLO. – Feb. 13, 2013 – Cutting Edge Automotive, a locally owned and operated auto repair shop and car dealer in Fort Collins, Colo., recently donated a reliable pre-owned vehicle to a Project Self-Sufficiency (PS-S) participant in need.
Amanda, a mother and Project Self-Sufficiency participant, received a 2005 Dodge Neon from Cutting Edge Automotive at the end of December.
“I credit PS-S for putting together a program that I know I can contribute to and make a difference in someone’s life,” said Cjay Manthey, Owner of Cutting Edge Automotive. “I donated my first car to a PS-S participant in 2014 and I enjoyed the experience so much that I spent all year trying to find the perfect car to donate this year. I hope to make this an annual donation.”
Since 1986, PS-S has been creating opportunity for low-income, single parent families in Larimer County who are struggling to make ends meet and overcome the cycle poverty. From educational development and career planning to adequate child care access and housing, the program is a comprehensive resource providing everything a single parent needs to become self-sufficient.
